Car Recycling Konstantopoulos Auto's NV is an accredited center specialised in recycling scrapped and end-of-life vehicles. 
 
An accredited center has to call every year an auditor to pass an annual inspection. The accredited center must then send the annual audit report to the OVAM. According to the regulation, the owner of an end-of-life vehicle, must compulsory present it at an authorised center.  The owner receives a certificate of destruction as a proof that the vehicle has been withdrawn from circulation and destroyed in an environment-friendly way.
 
Each certificate of destruction is issued and sent by the authorized center to D.I.V. (Vehicles Registration Division) so that the vehicle can be removed from the official database of registered vehicles.

  • Acceptance of the vehicle and document control
  • Clean-up of the vehicle with respect for the environment (oils, fuel, battery, tires, ...)
  • Possible termporary storage of the vehicle
  • Destruction of the vehicle
  • Issuing of the certificate of destruction
  • Deletion form the D.I.V. Registry (Vehicles Registration Division)
